DiploCité Forum 2025 – 21st Century Asia: A Bridge to Global Perspectives

More than a forum — an encounter, a vision, and a celebration.

To mark the Centenary of the Cité internationale, we brought together residents, young researchers, diplomats, and experts at the Maison des étudiants de l’Asie du Sud-Est for a unique afternoon of dialogue and collective reflection, in collaboration with The Asian Network.

Asia as a laboratory of ideas: how can we act responsibly in a fragmented world? How can we rethink harmony in polarized times?

 Highlights:

• Two high-level panels tackling security fragmentation, digital sovereignty, monetary innovation, soft power, and new diplomacy

• A space where residents and young leaders engaged directly with seasoned experts and diplomats

Our panelists shared their insights on Asia’s complex realities — a region of more than 4 billion people, with vast cultural, political, and economic diversity. Despite differences, Asian countries have shown a unique ability to find common ground and work together — an approach the world can learn from.
