Shomy Hasan Chowdhury

Shomy is a multi-award winning Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) activist from Bangladesh, with a vision to ensure access to “WASH” for all. She has been recognized and active with various international platforms including The Hult Prize Foundation & the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition.
Over 70,000 people have been educated through Shomy’s WASH Talks over the past seven years. She has worked extensively to teach all people including those from vulnerable communities such as sex-workers, underprivileged school children, and people with disabilities.
In 2019, Shomy received The Princess Diana Legacy Award 2019 and has been recognized recently Forbes 30 under 30, Featured Honoree
