Fiorina Mugione

Fiorina is an Economist with an MBA in International Trade. She has 20 years’ experience in international organizations, where she has led more than 30 private sector development programmes (OECD, ESCAP; UNDESA, UNCTAD). Between 2006-2019, she led the Entrepreneurship Programme at UNCTAD. This Programme aims to inspire entrepreneurship and strengthen the supply capacity of small and medium enterprises through business linkages. Fiorina coordinated the EMPRETEC programme – the one stop agency for small and medium sized enterprise development- in 40 countries around the world (). She took up her new role in GDSI in July 2019.
