Dr Jessada Salathong

Jessada Salathong, PhD, is a lecturer and Chairperson of MSCM Program at the Faculty of Communication Arts and former Assistant to the President for International Affairs, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. He is also a veteran international news commentator, news anchor, radio host and bi-lingual MC. He has experience working with several media and news agencies including Thai PBS, TNN World, MCOT, Nation Multimedia and Spring News in Thailand and NHK World in Japan. He is also a project manager of “Trusted Media Thailand” which is aimed for capacity building on fact-checking among future journalists. He holds masteral and doctoral degrees in international studies from Waseda University, Japan and bachelor’s degree in environmental science from Thammasat University Thailand.
