Alinar Amir

Alina Amir is a co-founder of Arus Academy, an education social enterprise in Malaysia that focuses on empowering teachers and students in future skills through hands-on and project-based learning. She was previously a teacher in a national school for 4 years. She has since led and designed numerous teacher training programs, youth engagement programs, and open-source content focusing on skills & global citizenship education that has since reached more than 20,000 students & 15,000 teachers across Malaysia. She also works with students from marginalized communities including undocumented children to help them gain digital skills in hopes to close the opportunity gaps.
